
I can’t keep track of all the fitness apps / devices showing up. Runkeeper, strava, garmin connect, fitbit, polar,…
I’ve been using Runkeeper already for a long time, most of my friends also use Runkeeper to keep track of their runs. But at work, a couple of my colleagues are using Strava. If I want to compare easily my own runs with my colleagues, I should use Strava to keep track of my runs, but that way I can’t compare with my friends.
Using both Strava and Runkeeper on a run is a bit overkill. Therefore I found an online tool called Tapiriik that syncs your tracks between several apps (like Strava and Runkeeper). If you use the free version, you have to sync manually (for example each week or after each workout), it is also possible to pay for automatic syncs.
I’ve attached my Garmin connect, Runkeeper and Strava to my profile to let them sync, and it’s working very nice!
