
Let’s share some tips about the apple mail tool:
1) Uncheck the ‘trash’ option for searching mails, as seen in the screenshot below. Mostly, you never need your trash mails again, otherwise you probably archived those mails. When composing new mails, it autosaves concepts of the mail. In your search results, all these concepts will show up, not really useful…
2) Organize your mails in conversations. Really, I’ve heard a lot of people screaming that they want the old way back, because they are used to it. But once you get used to the conversations, you’re mails will be organized a lot better! (the setting is located in the ‘view’ menu: ‘Organize by conversation’
3) Make a habit of using the button ‘reply all’. In my case, I rarely have to reply on an e-mail to only the sender and not the cc addresses. Even if you get an e-mail from one person, start using the ‘reply all’ button so it’s get a habit. I see a lot of e-mail replies only sent to the sender and not the other persons that should be in cc.
